Hawaii consists of many rural communities outside of its few major cities. As the rural communities have grown, there has been an increasing demand for notary services, especially by mainland companies doing business in Hawaii.
Naomi Fairchild quickly became known as the "traveling notary", catering to those clients who were unable to leave their office, home, hospital or hospice to do a notary signing. Seeing the statewide need for mobile notary services, Naomi envisioned the development of an agency to accomodate the growing needs of that market. This idea birthed the formation of Hawaii First Signature, LLC and HFS became the first statewide notary agency in January of 2004.
